Artist Background

Naoise hails from the south-west coast of Ireland, a location steeped in Irish music and surrounded by rich natural landscape. A multi-instrumentalist, producer and sound engineer, Naoise pushes the boundaries of modern music production and contemporary sound art. 

Having travelled the world, lived abroad, studied Experimental Sound in University College Cork and released futuristic psychedelic electronica on world renowned underground labels, Naoise is forging new musical landscapes.

With a mixed background of Taiwan and Ireland, Naoise has been exposed to two very diverse cultures from an early age, which has cultivated unique perspectives and mindset which he expresses through his creations. 

Over the past few years Naoise has performed at various festivals and events in Ireland, Taiwan and Austraila, including Other Voices, AKA fringe fest, Miracle and Blossom festival.

Within the last year, Naoise has explored the boundless world of experimental music & sound art, creating novel custom-built instruments and designing sound art installations which has gained him exposure on Ireland’s national radio broadcaster, RTE.
